Mindset

In our classroom we have been doing a "Mindset Motto of the Week". My goal is for kids to feel as best as they can and as confident as they can when they encounter a new learning situations, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Here are the motto's that we have done so far:

Mistakes are proof that you are trying!

Your best is the best!

It's not I don't know, it's I'll give it a GO!

If you learn to love challenges, you will always be growing!

It's okay not to know, it's NOT okay to not try!

The more you use your brain, the MORE you'll have to use.

Please feel free to talk about these motto's and implement them when you feel they fit in home situations! I hope that through these, the kiddos can have a growth mindset when it comes to take on challenges, as well as, building perseverance to continue to work through difficult tasks.
